Riding all new sounds

Dear reader.

After our show in The Melkweg, we decided we were at the end of an era with the band. Three years ago we recorded our first album, without help or money and with it, we made it to where we are today. A lot of doors are opening wide, great stages are waiting and we have lots of chances to play, but we feel we can take it all to a higher level.

The show in the Melkweg contained hints of new stuff, new plans and new music. We are now taking all our time to write our second album. You will not see us for a while, but when we’re back… it will be better than ever.

We  have one gig booked where you can hear a preview from some new material. We play on 7 March at FabrIQ festival in Den Bosch. We love you and we’ll see you soon. Once in a while we’ll post something of our progress on this site, be sure to check back once in a while.

Final results

Results for the GPNL are in… and the most surprising part is that we still have enough strength to type this. For be it known that we played one of our maddest sets before an audience of 1300 people tonight. Finals GPNL.

Of course we didn’t win, but we did it our way, all the way. And it was good. Sound could have been better and second place pays jack shit, but we went out there hard, it was blazing lights all around.

UPDATE:

As we promised, there is video. The wonderful guys from faceculture filmed us for a bit before and during the finals. Here’s the result. Keep your eyes out for a short documentary about the Utrecht music scene coming soon…

UPDATE 2
review from LIVEXS

Video for GPNL finals

Check out the video for ”le grote prize”. We had a lot more fun in there than you can see on the video. We made all the camera’s film at completely crazy angles, got my hand bleeding like a bastard on the stainless studiofloor and went all civil and cleaned up the blood and glass off the floor afterwards… Real fun, great guys over there. check out their efforts right here. HD recommended!

IF YOU WISH TO BE PRESENT AT THIS FESTIVAL OF CREATIVITY ON 12 DECEMBER 2009 in THE MELKWEG: Buy your tickets for 10 euro instead of 12 euro from us.

UPDATE:

Sorry, all our cheaper tickets are sold out already. There are more tickets (regular priced) available HERE If you bought a 10-euro ticket from us… we’ll be outside the melkweg with your ticket, you can pick it up and pay there.

UPDATE:
